At this time, iLike2Rock.net is officially on a Hiatus.
We are NOT accepting any new submissions, promo work, music, podcasts or updating the site during this time.
A recent death of a family member in another state, and as the executor to their estate, has left me with all kinds of
legal and financial obligations that require me to travel and spend the bulk of my time catering to the estate while other
aspects of my life have been put on hold, iLike2Rock.net being one of them.
I do NOT have an expected return date.
I thank everyone for their patience and the best of luck to all.
It is with much sadness that I must report that one of iLike2Rock.net own has passed away. DJ Lee.
Lee was not only a good friend, he was a lover of music and helped with many of the behind the mic aspects of iLike2Rock.net
and was instrumental in a lot of things we do.
Prior to his passing, Lee was able to meet Brad Paisley and give Brad his guitar. AWESOME!! Thank You Brad!
This was probably the last thing on Lee’s bucket list.
Lee’s Obituary
Lee Ellis Feldman, 59, of East Petersburg, succumbed to pancreatic cancer on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at ManorCare Health Services in Dallastown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late David M. and Frances Imovitz Feldman.
He graduated from Neshaminy High School in Langhorne in 1971. Lee met his wife Donna Shaub Feldman at West Chester State College and was married to her for 34 years before she died in 2010. They have two children: Shona Pascarello, wife of Eric and Sean Feldman, husband of Samantha, and 6 grandchildren: Jazlynn, Skylar, Riley, Bryson, Lillian and Jackson. Lee is also survived by his sister Marlene Smith, wife of David.
After settling in East Petersburg, Lee became active with several organizations in the community. He volunteered as a fire policeman with the East Petersburg Fire Company, a member of East Petersburg Lions Club and served as entertainment chairman of East Petersburg Day. Lee was of the Bahá’í Faith. He drove school bus for Brightbill Transportation in the Conestoga Valley School District for 12 years.
A musician, he played guitar and bass and sang since age 11. In October, following a dream he had about giving away his guitar, Lee travelled to Hershey’s Giant Center and presented his custom-made guitar to country music superstar Brad Paisley before Brad’s concert. Brad’s gratitude for the gift made a lasting impression on Lee
Visitation will be 1-2PM Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, Lititz, PA, followed by Graveside Services in East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Memorial Contributions may be made to the East Petersburg Fire Company, 6076 Pine Street East Petersburg, PA 17520 or to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602. Lee and I actually met by way of computers well over 20 years ago from a post to a BBS (Bulletin Board System) looking to get together and jam with other guitarists. Lee and I have stayed in touch since then and both our knowledge and passion for music made us friends to the end.
If there is a Rock N Roll Heaven, I hope Lee has a front row seat and that one day I will be sitting next to him.
Lee, you may be gone, but you are not forgotten, your contributions to the music industry and iLike2Rock.net will be heard throughout the internet.
